Launch Club is for Everyone

The ultimate goal at Launch Club is for everyone to have their best chance to improve their game. The cell phone application allows members to book and access the club on a 24hr/day, 365 days a year basis. If a member gets off work late at night and wants to unwind by playing a virtual round at Pebble Beach, Launch Club can accommodate that. If a parent has the kids, but can’t wait to work on a new feel in their golf swing, the four walled, private 20’x20′ rooms equipped with 65inch TVs make it so they don’t have to wait. The Launch Effect

Launch Club was also designed for members to truly improve their game. The TrackMan iO is one of, if not the best tool on the market for game improvement. Personally, the “impact zone” camera which records each swing at the point of contact has changed my game dramatically. The hitting strip at Launch Club is the most “grass-like” on the market, so if you hit a fat shot it will be penal. Most hitting strips allow the club to bounce and make good contact with the ball. These forgiving hitting surfaces can sometimes lead players to say things like “i don’t get it, i was hitting my irons so well at the range”. The hitting strips at Launch Club give the player a true sense of how they are striking the ball.

We have all paid 10 dollars or more for a bucket of beat up generic golf balls that are losing their dimples. This will cause the ball flight to be untrue and leave the player guessing at how well they struck the ball. Launch club provides premium balls (mostly Pro-V1s) that are in good shape so each shot will give you a true measure of how your game is improving.

Finally each bay is equipped with a tripod so players can record their swing in a controlled, private environment where the player can review their swing from any angle.

All of these factors have created an optimal environment for game improvement. When I speak to members about how their game is coming along, unanimously they have told me about improvement in some kind of way. One of our members, Andrew H. came up with the phrase “The Launch Effect”.

I really like the instant feedback the Trackman provides. Super simple to see where the ball hit on the club face and relevant stats like club path, angle, and speed. Really helps you get your swing dialed in.

Being a Launch Club member has significantly improved my golf game. I have transformed my swing from hitting weak fades to a compressed draw. My ball striking, length, and dispersion of misses have all improved, allowing me to see measurable gains in my overall performance. I have gone from an 11 to a 6.5 handicap since joining LC.

There is a reason that TrackMan is used by 90 of the top 100 PGA professionals, it is the most accurate and has the absolute best features. The impact camera and data will give you a true sense of how you are striking the ball. The training modules such as the “Strokes Gained Approach” will teach you when it is advantageous to “pin hunt” and when to aim for a more conservative shot. The games will keep your kids (or maybe yourself) entertained for hours. There are too many features to list here. Please go to the TrackMan website and look at it for yourself.

Club Rules

Premium members may bring up to 3 guests per visit. More guests may be accommodated, but please contact LC staff to discuss. Premium members may be compensated by their guests to offset the cost of membership.
Standard members must contact LC staff before bringing up to 3 guests per visit. Members enjoy a discounted rate for their guests. $20/hr for a single guest. $30/hr for a group up to 3.
Sharing a membership, IE letting a non-member in the building or sharing the application credentials is prohibited. When you are caught, your membership will be terminated with no refund.
Please respect players in the adjoining studio. Keep noise levels reasonable while you have a neighbor.
No smoking/vaping of any kind.
Outside food is allowed, but please clean up after yourself.
By Hennepin County law, members are not allowed to bring in alcohol
Launch Club is video surveilled, but we don't review the footage unless there is a reason. Standard members will randomly be surveilled to ensure they are adhering to the guest policy.
There are no contracts at LC. Memberships are month to month and may be cancelled at anytime with no penalty. If you forget to cancel before your next billing date, there is a 3 day grace period where you can cancel for a full refund as long as you have not used the club in that 3 day window. Cancellations must be confirmed by a LC staff member via phone call or text.
